As a Senior Software Engineer you will:
– Develop applications, application frameworks, for large-scale network and security management applications
– Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify local, network-related, and Internet-related programs for Enterprise Network security management applications
– Complete documentation, including Functional Specification, High and Low Level Designs.
– Interact with various departments, including product managers, QA, and users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

This position requires:
– M.S. or equivalent in computer science or computer engineering and 4+ years of Java programming experience.
– Knowledge of Java Swing (JFC) programming or another event driven programming is required.
– Strong analysis and problem resolution skills are required
– Knowledge of TCP/IP data networking and related protocols is required
– Must have experience working in Network Management area with focus on FCAPS, element management and network provisioning products
– Solid foundation in XML and other data interchange technologies required
– Familiarity with UML object modeling or another object oriented design methodology is a plus.
– Familiarity with the latest web technologies is a plus.
– Experience with C or C++ and other current programming technologies is a plus.
– Knowledge of enterprise level security applications, intrusion detection, and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL) is a plus.
– Must have held previous positions that required judgment in selecting techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
