Hiring Production Engineer

Job description:

Summary of Job description:
Overseeing the overall development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and productivity. Involves managing projects, analyzing processes, and implementing corrective actions to minimize defects and enhance production performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluating the feasibility of development projects, considering factors such as resources, costs, and timelines.

2. Completing development planning reports, outlining the necessary steps and resources required for successful project implementation.
– Managing development time frames and schedules, ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated time frame.

3. Production Optimization: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
– Continuous Improvement: Continuous improvement by implementing lean manufacturing principles, fostering innovation, and driving efficiency initiatives.
– Analyzing and improving defect rates, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to minimize defects.
– Providing insights and recommendations for improving production efficiency and profitability.

4. Analyzing CAPA and equipment orders to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
– Analyzing processes and managing equipment CAPA, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary corrective actions.

5. Establish and implement cycle time management

6. Wood pattern management

Education/ Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
2. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment is essential.
3. Understanding principles of mechanical systems, automation, robotics, and maintenance strategies.
4. Understanding of the CAD system
5. At least 4-6 years of work experience in the manufacturing setting
6. Strong leadership and management skills.
7. Communication and Interpersonal Skills
