▣ Responsibility
– Support OEM communication for product quality with engine plants and its follow-up monthly base / quarterly base
– Lead or manage failure analyses with field service, warranty and engineering to communicate and define issues
– Partners with distributers, dealers, and customers to support the investigation of moderately complex escalated product issues, discuss solutions, and conduct training because of complexity longevity and criticality
– Support Rapid Problem Solving / Product Quality Committee / Before In Service / Serious Quality Problem projects, leading field investigations, supporting product launches to the market.
– Take the lead OEM global product and quality support by visiting each country or territory or through conference call with OEM engineers and Company service outlet if required
– Determine potential exposure to Company on product problems and provide affected area with cost and customer impact information needed to establish priority for corrective action
– Responsible for supporting Korea territory and primary works with Distribution Field Support Engineer counterparts at Distribution Business Unit
– Identity moderately complex service issues, initiate problem solving, document cost and customer impact information to establish priority for corrective action
▣ Requirments
– College, university or equivalent degree in engineering or related technical field required
– Knowledge of Diesel Engine Technology and components
– Knowledge of Mechanical engineering and Electronic system
– Knowledge of Equipment / Vehicle operation & Power Train Application
– Experience on Engine Design, Assembly and Test
– 3-5 years experience in the automotive or its parts customer engineering experience
– To understand Korea business and USA business culture and etiquette
– Good communication skills in English and Korean
