Duties and Responsibilities: Planning and conducting subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs Performing geotechnical analyses and design of shallow and deep foundations, embankments/cuts, and earth retaining systems for transit/transportation projects Performing complex numerical analysis for underground projects using geotechnical software Preparation of geotechnical memoranda and reports Providing geotechnical support during construction Job Requirements Talent is the essence of meeting our client’s objectives, goals and challenges. Minimum Qualifications: MS in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical Engineering focus Minimum of 0 to 2 years experience in geotechnical engineering practice Knowledge in using geotechnical engineering software such as SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, GRLWEAP, SETTLE3D, SLIDE & MSEW Ability and willingness for some travel and field work Excellent verbal and written communication skills EIT reigistration is required, with ability to obtain PE in 4 years About WSP USA WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
