WSP is currently initiating a search for a Geotechnical Engineer for our Dallas, TX office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning and conducting subsurface investigation and laboratory testing programs
Performing geotechnical analyses and design of shallow and deep foundations, embankments/cuts, and earth retaining systems for transit/transportation projects
Performing complex numerical analysis for underground projects using geotechnical software
Preparation of geotechnical memoranda and reports
Providing geotechnical support during construction

Minimum Qualifications:
MS in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical Engineering focus
Minimum of 0 to 2 years experience in geotechnical engineering practice
Knowledge in using geotechnical engineering software such as SLOPE/W, SEEP/W, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, GRLWEAP, SETTLE3D, SLIDE & MSEW
Ability and willingness for some travel and field work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EIT reigistration is required, with ability to obtain PE in 4 years
