Summary of Functions: Responsible for maintaining high standards of warehouse operational activities within the company and quality assurance of finished goods to customers in the region. Responsible for ensuring productivity, quality and safety requirements are in accordance with real company needs based on clients’ requirements. Essential Functions (Job Description): 1. Inventory Management: Work closely with all warehouse personnel including managers, supervisors, leaders, and other employees to manage and maintain stock in the warehouse in accordance with established inventory control processes. - Control and manage inventory - Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods - Keep delivery and return history up to date in order to recognize accurate sales revenue 2. Quality: Serve as a liaison between production plant and customers. Analyze and summarize customer quality issues/claims. - Ensure customers’ quality requirements are met - Reviews customer quality complaints and initiates corrective action to expedite resolution. - Analyze type of quality claims, by program and by customers - Manage customer’s requests promptly and resolve issues quickly 3. Communication: Maintain a constant flow of information and communication between Headquarters, production plant, and clients for both internal and external support. - Communicate with customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving - Communicate with Headquarters and other departments, staff group, and customers - Lead all warehouse meetings and weekly management meeting. 4. Operations: Direct and supervise all employees’ daily assignments. Provide daily supervision of warehouse associates to ensure a safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse. Maintain Department’s work schedules and assignments to ensure efficient operation. - Supervise warehouse employees and oversee daily operations - Manage and deal with personnel issues such as the recruitment, training, and discipline of Staff - Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervision and coaching employees - Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met - Ensure timely attendance is properly maintained/monitored and approved for payroll purpose 5. Building and Equipment: Manage building and all equipment according to established company policy so that it is utilized in the most efficient manner. Coordinate all maintenance needs with maintenance lead. - Ensure all compliance obligations are fulfilled - Inspect facilities periodically to identify issues and ensure functionality - Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse in order to keep in good condition 6. Safety, Sanitation, Security: Review warehouse operations daily to ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed. Operate in compliance with OSHA and industry’s standards. - Enforce all company rules and regulations - Ensure health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment 7. Documentation / Reporting: Ensure that all records/reports are completed on time and are effectively maintained. Review operating goals/standards and monitor achievement. - Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis - Review proposals, reports, and manual related to warehouse operation and customers’ issues. Requirement: - Bachelor degree or higher required - Minimum 7 years of experience in comprehensive supply chain management or experience in management of warehousing within manufacturing or automotive industry. - Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures - Basic understanding of quality assurance duties and experience in launching a new program/product - Strong management skills, able to efficiently organize several functions - Excellent analyzing and problem-solving skills - Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, especially with customers - Able to work with all levels of staff, motivate a workforce, and encourage strong teamwork - Bi-Lingual (English and Korean) would be preferred, but not essential - Proficiency in MS Office Please apply to hai-acct-11@hansamerica.com I agree to the terms of service Update List
