Job Summary.The primary function of an accounts payable clerk is to ensure that a company’s bills are paid on time and that the company is not overcharged for any service.

Job responsibility;• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries and participate in month-end closing activities.
Ensure that appropriate preliminary and final closing schedule is being followed.
Distribute preliminary and final G/L reports during the close. Distribute monthly
departmental reports.
• Prepare various monthly supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts and quarterly Korean
financial schedules.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and analyses for assigned balance sheet accounts and
track the status of balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts, including timely resolution
of reconciling items.
• Prepare quarterly prepaid and accrual analyses for assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly intercompany billing and reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Identify procedural improvements and write policies and procedures to both document and
implement recommendations.
• Prepare year-end audit schedules as assigned.
• Assist the Finance Manager with fixed asset accounting, including additions, dispositions,
and corrections on fixed asset register.
• Record daily accounts payable invoices and weekly payment to vendors
• Prepare periodic AP Aging report and related cash plan report.experience4-6+ years in a similar role supporting and interfacing with senior managementrequirement skill and knowledge;§ Thorough knowledge of general accounting methods and principles, including data processing applications.§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.§ Able to multi-task and maintain composure.Competent with computer applications:§ Excel – able to create/update spreadsheets with links, mathematical formulas, functions (average, look-up, etc.), charts, and graphs.§ Word – able to create/update documents with complex formatting such as table of contents, columns, tables, charts, and graphs.§ PowerPoint – able to create/update presentations with complex formatting such as columns, tables, charts, graphs, bullets, animation, backgrounds, etc.§ Able to operate office equipment, i.e. copier, telephone, calculator, adding, computer keyboard (50 wpm), etc.§ Outlook – Able to schedule/change meetings with the correct resources (people, meeting rooms) and notify invitees.Language Skills:§ Ability to read, write and speak fluent English (Korean is a plus).§ Respond effectively to verbal or written inquiries.§ Read and interpret difficult instructions.
