Sr. Embedded S/W Engineer

Job description:
A candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing layer 1 control and device driver for embedded system of Mobile TV.
In addition, he/she will participate in system software architecture design and implementation. Another necessary aspect of the position will be a problem isolation and timely resolution of issues with existing drivers, working with the Applications Engineering Team for a field deployed releases. Applicant must be comfortable with quickly learning new technologies, have strong design and problem solving skills and must be a team player.

Key responsibilities will also include developing BSP(Board Support Package) and Bootloader of embedded system.

Requirements:
– A BS in EE or CS and 2+ years of experience in embedded software development using C language under RTOS environment. MSEE/CS preferred
– Understanding of microprocessor and system-on-chip architectures (SRAM, ROM, Bus)
– Real time embedded systems experience using Tensilica or ARM microprocessors
– Solid knowledge of DMA, interrupt, IIC, SPI, SDIO, and etc.
– Must have experience with ICE, JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other tools that are commonly used to debug embedded communication software
– Strong written communication skills in the form of Functional, Design, and Test Plan Documentation
– Assembly language programming experience is a plus
– Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment
