Desktop Support Technician

Job Description:
– Support and install desktop with multi location users
– Documenting, reviewing, and improving existing or new procedures and workflows
– Responding to client support request tickets, calls, and emails:
– Installing, supporting, configuring, evaluating, maintaining, monitoring, and analyzing systems and software in a client network environment
– Identifying, troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting user system issues
– Establishing a high level of personal credibility and building strong relationships
– Providing updates, status, and completion information to management
– Ability to work with clients remotely with or without Remote Assistance Software

Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualifications
– Must have moderate knowledge in the field of computers & networking.
– Operating System experience in the following XP, Vista, Win 7/8, Server 2008 and 2012
– Good knowledge in IT infrastructure (PC Operating System, MS-Office, Networks)
– More than 1 years’ experience in relevant IT area. (including entry level)
– Ability to work independently and at the same time as team member
– Minimum 1 year of experience of Help Desk Support
– Knowledge of network infrastructure(network, switches), DVR, and phones (highly preferred)
– Server hardware experience with the following: (highly preferred)
– Intermediate server administration skills with domain configuration and maintenance
– Windows server components, including:
– Active Directory, Group Policy, SQL, & Exchange, RRAS
– Background in business network troubleshooting, implementation, and VPN configuration
