Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Conduct new business development activities to generate new high-value business and consumer deposit relationships to meet department and individual goals. • Develop deposit clients, generating referrals through existing client base and industry events and functions. • Identify, refer and introduce other business opportunities to internal product partners. • Actively participate in industry events to assess new client opportunities and increase bank visibility. • Primary focus of deposit gathering activities should be low-cost core deposits. • Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all bank deposit products and cash management services in order to effectively describe to clients/prospects the product's features and benefits. • Perform thorough analysis of a prospect's current accounts and services in order to make appropriate recommendations on new banking products and services. • Ensure that all activities and work functions comply with bank compliance requirements. • Provide exemplary customer service. • Provide "point of contact" solutions for existing clients. • Price products and services competitively, keeping the bank's profitability goals in mind. • Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of and adherence to Bank operational policies and applicable compliance regulations as they relate to the specific job duties assigned. • Demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of your duties and responsibilities as it relates to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC). This includes participating in any required training and promptly complying with all reporting requirements. Job Requirements • Associates degree or equivalent from a college or university • 4 - 6 years business development and bank operations experience. • Ability to protect and maintain confidential information. • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team. • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks while working in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with personal computers and related software.
