[DB Developer] Job Description: The position is responsible for the delivery of the Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytical solutions. This position requires business experiences as well as sound technical knowledge of a broad range of data tools and web development techniques. Working closely with dbSeer clients to deliver and implement solutions using various data visualization tools as well as data modeling software, including but not limited to Logi Analytics, Qlik Sense and Tableau, based on clients’ demand. In this position, the individual is responsible for analysis, design, development, and ongoing support for assigned projects utilizing the Business Intelligence solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to successfully work with all levels of stakeholders, identify functional and technical requirements; translate complex functional, technical and business requirements into architectural designs, BI presentation and data layer application solutions through effective design, coding and testing • Understand different Systems Development Life Cycle models and methodologies, project management methodologies, and draw up detailed design documentation including UML charts and diagrams that indicate the various components involved, prepare instructions for implementation • Extract, transform, and load data for data warehousing, analyze and design databases within an application area, coordinating database\data warehouse development as part of a team • Manipulate data using large datasets and multiple data sources, write relational and multidimensional database queries • Design, develop and deploy high impact data-driven models to solve business problems using the latest and most appropriate technologies, such as Logi Analytics, Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc. Build data driven business insights and generate significant business value • Present, deliver and support new technology and business intelligence solutions to meet or exceed clients’ needs • Write, test and maintain application functionalities to ensure that the implementation meets the needs of the client requirements, using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML. Assist clients and document their requirements • Modify and document program code to correct errors or to enhance application's capabilities and test the programs and make amendments EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Education • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Sciences, or similar program • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Sciences, or similar program Requirements • Enterprise data warehouse, relational databases, and reporting experience is strongly preferred, including strong knowledge of applicable standards and methodologies • Experience in one or more of SQL server, database management, Logi Analytics, and Qlik Sense; working knowledge/awareness in all these tools is preferred • Ability to translate business requirements and specifications into BI presentation and data layer application solutions through effective design, coding and testing • Knowledgeable in design, development and deployment of web-based applications; familiar with web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills across business and IT communities • A passion for technology and implementing cutting edge Business Intelligence solutions to improve the information system • Creative and persistent problem solver with an ability to make progress even where there is uncertainty • Client service oriented (both internal and external) [ Python Developer] Requirements for the Python Developer • 1-2 years of experience in Python • Knowledge of webservices, REST and JSON • Experience with AWS I agree to the terms of service Update List
