Job Summary.
The Customs – will work in a team environment performing customs clearance processes on key brokerage accounts. Participate in dedicated customer effort and be responsible for the final delivery of customer cargo.
This position requires individual customs entry processing skills, Knowledge of proper classifications(FDA, ABI, HTS) and Government agencies.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily enter review and classification of General merchandise
Entry documentation including 7501 & 3461
Provide Necessary documents to other government agencies
Prepare customs brokerage file
Verify arrival information with airlines/NVOCC’s/Steamship lines, ECT.
Rate commercial invoice with Tariff numbers
Verify country of origin
Data entry and transmit to customs
Prepare entry documents for customs arrival and duty payment
Prepare delivery order, Send to trucker with verifying receipt
Prepare billing package bill file, email/mail to clients
Advise importers of any areas of tariff classification regulations and procedure
All entries are filed on time and freight delivered in a timely manner in accordance with company and customer
Follow up assigned tasks from management
Recommended Qualifications:Willing to learn in the area of Custom or pursuing Custom broker License
3+ year experience in Customs OR3PL Logistics(import) acceptable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Philippine/ English bilingual preferred)
Computer Proficiency (MS Office, Excel, word, Ramport…),
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Eligible to work in the United States
Huge plus Korean Bilingual
