Position: Corporate Tax Senior

JY & Associates is a full service accounting firm located in Auburn, AL. As a result of continuous growth in the past few years, we are currently seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join our firm.

You will be responsible for the following:

Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and compliance
Manage corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
Prepare the calculation of ASC 740 tax provisions
Develop and sustain strong client relationships
Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Provide industry knowledge and experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required; Master’s degree in taxation preferred
CPA required
2 or more years of tax experience in public accounting
Must have experience in reviewing the calculation of ASC 740 tax provisions
Experience preferred but not required including: inbound and outbound topics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated and self-starter
