Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will oversee the deployment, performance, and maintenance of cloud environments to ensure seamless and secure operations. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with a commitment to ensuring the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of our systems.Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud resources.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness.
Security and Compliance:Implement and maintain cloud security policies to safeguard sensitive data.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Automation and Optimization:Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and management (e.g., using Terraform, CloudFormation).
Optimize cloud costs and recommend resource allocation strategies.
Troubleshooting and Support:Resolve incidents and performance issues within the cloud environment.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
Collaboration and Documentation:Collaborate with DevOps, development, and IT teams to align cloud infrastructure with business objectives.
Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
Recommend and implement enhancements to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud administration.
Proficiency in managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Expertise in virtualization, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog).
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
