Closed Captioning Project Coordinator
Responsibilities
– Deliver closed caption files for various pre-recorded materials including TV programs, educational content, DVD, feature films, promotional content, etc.
– Assign closed captioning tasks to captioners (freelancer or in-house)
– Verify closed caption files delivered by captioners
– Manage work/delivery schedule
– Liaise with clients
– Recruit and train new captioners
Requirements/Qualifications
– Familiarity with closed captioning tools such as MacCaption
– Vast knowledge of closed captioning regulations
– Grammar expert
– High attention to detail
– Multi-tasker
– Ability to perform under high time pressure
– Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment
– Prefer who can speak Korean and Spanish
