    Job Description

    JOB TITLE: Payroll Specialist
    REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager
    Job Type Full Time Employee
    DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
    LOCATION: Commerce, CA 90040

    Summary/Objective
    This position ensures accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information for month closing, participate in data entry and payroll processing. Also carry out a wide variety of duties related to the functions of the Human Resources (onboarding, filing, benefits, FMLA, reporting, HRIS, etc.) department. This is a position that interacts with all levels of the organization and has the opportunity to learn and grow.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Manage payroll process for all full time/part time employees and temps
    • Review, analyze and check payroll forms and reports for accuracy and makes necessary adjustments or corrections.
    • Manages full cycle of FMLA and leave processes
    • Manage payroll month closing with accounting team.
    • Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
    • Process terminations
    • Admin Onboarding system for new hires and work with store managers
    • Admin benefits and 401K enrollment and follow up questions
    • Process correct garnishment, levy, etc. calculations and compliance in timely manner
    • Manages unemployment claims ,VOE and other inquires
    • Creates, organizes, files and maintains all files
    • Process expenses and reconcile benefit billings
    • Assist in planning company events
    • Assist with the hiring process and employee on-boarding
    • Assist other HR projects and activities
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum of three years of Human Resources experience with at least two years in benefits administration, leaves administration required and payroll experienced preferred
    • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Highly discrete individual who can handle sensitive and confidential employee information
    • Strong work ethic and team player.

    REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager

    SUMMARY

    Support the management team in all aspects of service, quality, cleanliness, labor, costs, production, and maintenance for the restaurant during the assigned shift. Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of a cook, line server, and cashier.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • Oversees day-to-day operations, training of restaurant team members and effectively addresses the needs of the team, guests and the restaurant manage
    • Be responsible for daily operations from open to close when manager is off.

    JOB TITLE: HR Generalist III
    REPORTS TO: Sr. HR Manager

    Summary/Objective
    The human resource generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, on boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/ employment and employment law compliance.

    Essential Functions
    1. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
    2. Lead the recruitment strategy, sourcing techniques and implementation of innovative and efficient programs to ensure the hiring and retention of the best talent; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and writes and places advertisements.
    3. Conduct I-9 internal audits and follow up corrections
    4. Administers all LOA
    5. Administers workers comp claims, file 300 report, conduct or follow up investigation with managers and prepare the workers comp insurance
    6. Follow up Visa/Green card processing
    7. Manage employee file and conduct exit interviewing (G2~G4)
    8. Maintains company organization charts and the HR Index.
    9. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
    10. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
    11. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

    SUMMARY
    Business Operations Assistant takes on the administrative responsibilities of the restaurant store at HQ. This position is in charge of research, analysis, assistant & manage ordering, inputting & taking inventory of stock, maintaining records of purchase and sales and assisting in event planning of all restaurant stores.
    Also, track the sales of each store, record all data from the back report and analyze the sales trend. The assistant usually works directly under the Business Operations manager.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

    • Input all invoices in to the system for payment
    • Track the sales and analyze the sales trend of each stores
    • Update the inventory report and control inventory level
    • Assist with coordination of special events

    – Manage a delivery of products to customers. This includes finding the best shipping methods and scheduling shipments of product.
    – Keep and track the precise records of all incoming and outgoing products.

    • Order process

    • Inventory
    – Reconcile the physical inventory records with system.
    – Report shortages, overages and all inventory levels monthly for replenishment
