The Department of State released the latest Visa Bulletin for March 2008 on February 12. Fortunately, there are some encouraging improvements compared with last month. Cut-off dates had a big leap forward for applicants born in mainland China filing employment-based immigration petitions. For EB-2, it moved forward 11 months. For EB-3, it moved more than one year. However, the situation for India-born applicants shows few improvements. There are still no visa numbers available for India-born applicants in the EB-2 category. The following are cut-off dates for employment-based immigration petitions. Dates in the parentheses are cut-off dates for February 2008.
