Department Summary:
Forever 21 is seeking an innovative, energetic, and passionate team player to add to our dynamic E-Commerce team.

Job Purpose:
The Front End Web Developer/ UI/UX Designer is responsible for assisting the E-Commerce department by creating assets used in online marketing campaigns. This role will be hands on, and the candidate should be well-versed in HTML (5), Flash, CSS (3), JQuery, JavaScript, UI/UX Design, Hand Coding, and other web technologies. The Front End Web Developer, UI/UX Designer is also tasked with maintaining the usability of Forever 21’s online marketplace.

Deliverables:
• Create the assets for Forever 21 web & amp; mobile campaigns aimed at promoting new trends
• Maintain the usability of the E-commerce website, looking for ways to improve the user’s overall experience.
• Work seamlessly with a variety of partners – from marketing to design to engineering – in the service of ensuring that
FOREVER 21 web and mobile properties are always best in class.
• Maintain, evangelize and evolve web style guidelines to maintain design consistency and coherence across marketing
properties
• Create interactive assets that will interest and engage Forever 21 customers in the online marketplace
• Be able to quickly and efficiently use the standard creative suite software to visualize concepts and progress towards
delivery
• Collaborate with international teams on campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of all required assets
• Design assets according to style plans, sales needs and emerging trends
• Review all assets, ensuring the proper placement, grammar, and typography
• Explore concept and design development, looking for improvement to the overall design of online assets
• Ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management
• Must be Bilingual in English/Korean

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
• BS in fine art or related field coupled with 3+ years of experience in a design related role
• Must have experience with Adobe, Photoshop, Dreamweaver; Experience with HTML (5), CSS (3), JQuery, Hand Coding,
Flash, and Java preferred
• Must have basic Microsoft Office skills ( Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Portfolio demonstrating both graphic design principles and technical expertise.
• Have an eye for quality in execution that is mindful of budget, timeframes and context
• Be able to clearly prioritize and manage time dedicated to multiple concurrent projects
• Provide cover in the absence of other Graphic Designers, picking up projects where necessary to meet aggressive timelines
• Passionate about communications design – especially in new media
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
