Summary
This position will be responsible for supporting VPC General Manager (GM), and Department Managers in various continuous improvement projects at the Vehicle Processing Centers as well as Headquarters in Irvine, Ca. The responsibilities include reviewing of the current process, data collection and analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Observe current process, collect data, conduct data analysis and recommend improvement ideas to optimize productivity and efficiency
Assist General Manager, Department Managers, and VPC staff in daily business operations
Provide direction and support regarding daily production goals and requirements
Study and assist to find solutions for achieving the VPC’s KPI(Key Performance Indicator)
Assist and communicate with General Manager, GKR, HQ’s, and customers
Serve as the point-of-contact for General Manager and customers
Maintain communication with General Manager and customers and provide communication to ensure understanding of issues and required actions
Assist with touring Korean VIPs and visitors around the campus
Driving on campus and off campus to attend meetings, luncheons, tours, visit customers, etc.
Assist in conducting daily departmental tours and audit walk through includes all departments, including outside work areas
Define and evaluate current processes. Study inefficient work processes and find solutions to implement.
Attend daily meetings at VPC
Provide understanding of the daily business issues, plans and goals
Daily , Weekly, and monthly Reporting to GM, HQ, GKR, and customers
Preparing Reports
Update organizational charts with updates (restructures, new hires, terminations).
Vehicle inventory management reports
Complete daily reports and report assignments as required(Daily Operation, inventory etc.)
Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
SkillsMust be Bilingual in Korean and English
Must possess great communication, planning, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience using any time studies application is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Education & ExperienceAssociates Degree Required
Must hold a valid state-issued driver’s license without restrictions
7-10 years of experience required
