Collections Specialist at an Assistant Manager level. We are considering the local candidate only since there is no relocation assistance provided for this opportunity. CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES o Works with high volume B2B collection calls and/or correspondence to collect overdue as a result of financial loss from transporting our goods via 3rd party carriers. o Process the payment transactions and post its outcome on customer accounts. o Provides customer service regarding collection issues, recommend account adjustments, resolve discrepancies and short payments. o Ensures daily, weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor and participates in team meetings. o Processes debit and credit memos for assigned customers in accordance with company policy. o Builds and maintains customer relationships and conducts miscellaneous customer contact. o Performs other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support other collection functions. o Supervise 2 AR/Collections specialists.
