    Position Classification: Accounting Manager
    Department: Accounting/Finance
    Report to: CFO
    Location: Irvine, CA
    Pay Range: $60K – $70K

    Position Summary

    Reporting to the CFO, the accounting manager will be responsible for the entire financial operations of the company and all related activities. This includes, but is not limited to, general accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and investment analysis, internal controls, and treasury and tax related tasks.

    Responsibilities

    – Work with the CFO to help shape the company’s business and financial strategies
    – Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure
    – Review contracts and ensure that revenue is recorded and recognized in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS standards
    – Make monthly, quarterly, and annual profit reports utilizing ratio models for upper management and headquarters
    – Review and revise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing statements
    – Manage corporate tax issues including: sales, use, property tax
    – Maintain a creative and open mind, thinking broadly about the business in terms of best business practices and/or direction for the company that is not limited to financial issues

    Requirements

    – Bachelor’s degree in accounting
    – Bilingual in Korean and English
    – 4+ years of experience in accounting/finance
    – Prior experience with international accounting, corporate taxes, and capability to manage a facility
    – Software skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Quickbooks (SAP preferred, but not required)
