We helped a Korean biomedical scientist receive CIS Approval of EB2NIW in 43 days only.
The current CIS processing time for EB2NIW is about 4 months according to the USCIS Processing Time Information for Texas Service Center (TSC) posted on January 4, 2013.
Lately, we helped a Korean biomedical scientist obtain an approval of his NIW petition in only 1 month and 13 days. We helped this Korean client prepare and file his EB2NIW on October 30, 2012. The CIS issued the Approval Notice of his EB2NIW on December 12, 2012 without a Request for Evidence (RFE), which is 2months and 18 days faster than the TSC’s Current Processing Time.
The client received a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from a U.S. university. As a research fellow, he currently works at one of the nation’s leading hospitals conducting research in hematopoietic stem cells and leukemia.
In this 43-day approved NIW case, we argued that the client’s original and novel contributions to the field of medical immunology focused on hematopoietic stem cell biology/leukemia have significant impact on the development of treatment strategies against leukemia and lymphoma, and B-cell-related autoimmune diseases. His leading edge research on hematopoiesis helps us better understand the regulation of hematopoietic stem cells and develop therapeutic targets/cures for leukemia/lymphoma and other hematologic malignancies. We argued that his novel work in hematopoietic stem cells and leukemia/lymphoma development have important significance in treatment and prevention of autoimmune diseases/cancers and has direct links to the U.S. long-term interest in health care. We also argued that his current position and ongoing projects supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) rely on his previous research findings of LRF (leukemia / lymphoma-related factor) functions, and expertise in cellular/molecular biology and genetics, as well as his intellectual power and experience in immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry and medicine.
To establish the fact that the client’s research achievements have some degree of impact/influence on the field as a whole, we helped the client prepare and organize his documentary evidence based on our comprehensive evidence preparation system. The client’s documentation includes 2 first-authored papers, 5 co-authored papers, 8 conference presentations, 17 review citations, more than 100 research citations, and 6 expert opinion letters, among other documents. We made a great deal of effort in carefully and thoroughly drafting six (6) expert opinion letters based on his personal statement and other materials provided. The drafted contents of each letter were then later improved and refined with the additions/corrections made by the clients based on our advice and suggestions.
The successful adjudication of the client’s I-140 EB2NIW petition in 43 days without a RFE shows that the evidence and documentation of his case were thoroughly prepared and well-argued by our evidence preparation system according to the legal requirements of EB2NIW.
