Now Editing “2017 Internship – Volkswagen/Audi” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) Company * Location Expires at https://vwgoa.taleo.net/careersection/jobdetail.ftl?job=GRO000506&lang=en#.WH_XnAD6xqg.email Job Description Customer Product Quality Intern - GRO000506 Primary Location : United States-Michigan-Auburn Hills Description Internship February - December 2017 •Participate in customer visits to gain a technical understanding of customer complaints •Analyze all relevant customer satisfaction data and studies that relate to product quality and reliability •Provide support in Identifying and addressing top customer quality issues with current products. •Recommend and review issues short and permanent corrective actions with Vehicle Integration, Assembly, Customer Satisfaction Teams, Program Management and Vehicle launch teams. •Participate in Pilot Fleet meetings to ensure customer quality issues are given the proper attention •Ensure that the activities are shared with VW and Audi to maximize potential for synergies and best practice sharing. •Work closely with Quality resident engineers to stratify and eliminate quality issues •Gain an understanding and impact of quality surveys (JD Power IQS, CSI, APEAL, SSI, Consumer Reports and various enthusiast publications). •Perform statistical analysis utilizing warranty and internal quality survey data to monitor trends •Address top technical issues and push them through the resolution process with different factories. •Obtain detailed knowledge of department processes, technical information sources and vehicle diagnostic process. •Participate in reporting and investigative activities to identify technical issues that drive the ppH for the Brand. •Conduct statistical analysis of data sources and forecasting trends Qualifications Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months Bachelors / Pursing Bachelors of Science degree in Automotive Technology/Engineering with strong statistical/data analysis skills Motivated to learn new principles, ideas, and have excitement in applying these new principles Motivated to make a positive impact in the work environment and on the quality of the products produced Analytical and deductive skills – use evidence and facts to reach conclusions Systemic thinking – using logic and reason Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written Technical capacity to analyze vehicle mechanisms Strong analytical, problem solving skills Strong automotive technical background Strong MS Office skills Strong communication skills Strong Database Skills Results oriented Ability to travel to Germany/Mexico/Domestic We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
