Duties

-Responsible for the deployment and management support SUN Unix servers.

-Must possess strong Solaris Unix knowledge and skills.

-Responsible for Veritas Cluster or SUN Cluster configuration and management.

-Basic knowledge of SAN & NAS technologies and how they integrate with the OS/file systems (EMC)

-Experience with Raid Manager Software like SUN LVM & Veritas Volume Manager.

-Candidate should be able to configure Weblogic Cluster and troubleshoot issues.

-Candidate should have an understanding of Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g and how the DB architecture integrates with the OS/file systems.

-Perform Capacity and Performance Management using UNIX Tools (PerfView, Glance, sar, top, etc.)

-Must be able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and work well, and accurately, under pressure

-Communicate clearly with Clients, Management and Vendors

-Attend Team Meetings and provide detailed status updates as requested

-Follow strict Change Control based on ITSM.

-Perform off-hours Maintenance as required and on-call support.

-Develop/detail technical specifications and provide technical direction.

-Understand Netbackup and how it communicates to clients clients

-Able to read and write minor Shell Scripts

Qualifications

• Sun HW like 280,440, 490, 890,V series, T & M series e.t.c
• Solaris 8/9/10, including OS upgrades/config
• TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, Mail, DNS, NTP, FTP, etc
• Weblogic Clustering
• SUN clustering
• Veritas Volume management & clustering configuration
• -BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience(5 ~ 7 years)
• -bilingual Korean/English preferred due to often communication with Korea HQ-Telnet, FTP, TCP/IP, Http etc
• -Be good at Excel, PowerPoint, Word, internet explorer.
