Problem : Slapping Noise in Auto Transmission

1) 2009.7.5

there are no adjustments or parts for this electronic transmission. Hyundai customer service is worthless.dealers service miss led me letting me think it could repaired or adjusted. wasted four trips. I hate being STIFFED.its on the dealer to make it good but with no parts or adjustments and Hyundai of NO HELP I am stuck. getting a lawyer is required but I cannot beat the system.this has caused problems at home .my $42000 dollar retirement car is LEMON.

2) 2009.4.15

transmission metal gear slapping feel and sound. caused line of drive problem causing rear end to have pinon gear whine and play. gaithersburg dealer and service and factory tech a failure.never told me the truth that there are no parts or adjustments.after 4 TIMES referred me to hyundai customer service.file a claim months go by on and on . no results I am stuck WITH A LEMON.not allowed to get outside opinon. go to consumer protection end in court. need a lawyer–continuance again and again I loose my ass .still have the LEMON HYUNDAI GENESIS .road feel and vibration from dunlop tires plus hard steering causes fatigue. you become a human shock absorber. sunlight washes out nav screen. blind spot when drivers seat is all the way back. rides like a truck.passenger seat needs more adjustments.no light under hood. mud guards to small

transmission worked fine until 2000 miles then began a abnormal clunking noise in the transmission.then the clunking noise be came a gear slapping sound caused by a time lag in the transmission.this caused the rear end to have a slapping noise and some pinon gear wine. Hyundai service tech and dealer service manger went for a drive and observed condition.they told me there there are no parts or adjustments for this electronic transmission and the rear end is ok.Hyundai and dealer have stiffed me. they forget you are alive. THIS HYUNDAI GENSIS IS A LEMON. AT 74 YEARS OLD I AM STUCK.the dealer service manger road tested a in new gensis he said this condition is normal for this rear drive vehicle.

Thanks for sharing this however it just seems like one of those bad reviews floating on the internet.
I am not a huge Genesis fan but I’ve driven it a couple of times and I haven’t noticed any of problems mentioned above. Of course, it may have some flaws but you can very easily find bad reviews about even the top of the line cars from top level makers. When it comes to picking a vehicle from a car lot, you’ll really need some luck.

전 현대차 좋거든요.

수출용 제네시스4.6에 들어가는 미션은 독일 ZF사가 완제품형태로 납품합니다. 참고로 ZF사의 미션은 현재 포르셰, BMW, 아우디 등에서도 사용되고 있습니다.

미션님. 그럼 한국 내수용 (도 있나요??)에는 다른 미션이 쓰이나요? 씁쓸…

터보엔 폴쉬에서도 쓰던 미션 (이게 ZF 에서 만들었는지는 확인 않됨)
3.8 엔 일본 아이신AW 미션
4.6 엔 1세대 ZF 미션 (이건 butter smooth 미션 이라고 불리긴 좀 아쉬움)

아이신 미션이든 ZF 미션이든 제네실수에 엔진이 아닌 미션 탓을 하면, 제네 실수 않되고 니네실수 되는거 잖아요.

글 전체를 다 읽어보니, 뽑기 잘못해서 미션 때매 열받아서 말도 않되는 걸로 투덜 대는것 같네요.

그리고 아무리 날고기는 ZF 아이신 아이치 라고 할지라도
엔진이랑 조합이 구리면 강냉이 털리는건 같습니다.
ZF 미션 나갔다고 모두 ZF 탓이 아니죠.

젠쿱 오너들이 젠쿱에 장착된 브렘보 4피보고 브렘보 후지다고 투덜대는거랑 같은 이치.

젠쿱에 터보도 있다는걸 모르시면 함 찾아보시구요..

글에서 4.6 이라는 단서가 있음에도
2.0T, 3.8,4.6 등 주 엔진 라인업을 다 언급했음에 유의 하시구요.
(머 젠쿱은 제네시스하고는 완전 다른차야.. 그럼 할말없구요)

현대 엔지니어가 설계상 조합을 잘못해서 강냉이가 털릴정도라고는 생각이 잘 않되네요.

원글 쓴이의 생각이 뽑기 잘못한 자동차 transmission problem 문제를 제네실수 전체의 문제인양 호도 하려는 의도가 잘못되었다고 저는 짚고 있는겁니다.

제가 특별히 발췌한 부분만 읽어봐도, 글쓴이의 감정에 치우친 느낌이 물씬 풍겨 나오잖아요.

혼다 엔에스엑스에 조합된 트랜스는 설계못해서 오버홀 하는게 아닙니다.
지티알은 설계잘못해서 런치컨트롤만쓰면 워런티 날라갑니까?

제가 말씀드리려는 조합을 이해를 못하시는군요
조립과정에서의 조합이 아니라
엔진성격과 트랜스 성격이 다른게 만나면 그리 된다 이겁니다.

그리고 제네시스 세단얘기에 젠쿱이야기는 왜 나온건진 모르겠습니다만
진짜 포르쉐에 올라간 지에프랑 젠쿱에 올라간 지에프랑 같다고 생각하는건 아니시죠???
