Customs Entry Writer is responsible for accurate and timely transmission of customs entries to US Customs and Border Protection. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
• Gather required documents and information and performing document review and assessment of accuracy, verifying key data elements for customs entry
• Monitor ISF requests and complete ISF filing in an accurate and timely manner
• Process customs entries documentation and post-entry work including AR/AP
• Respond to inquiries from customers, and oversea offices and resolve issues
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills
• Basic knowledge of INCO terms, Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Customs regulations and other government agency requirements, process of shipment coordination and trucking companies, airlines, steamship lines, ports, and warehouses
• Accurate and rapid data entry with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with demanding deadlines and requirements of timely delivery of import cargo
• Must be detail-oriented, thorough & accurate, possessing abilities to establish priorities, accomplishing multiple tasks and efficiently solve problems

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Two (2) Years of Experience in Customs Entry Writing preferred but not required

Compensation
• $ 44,000-$50,000/Year
