Open Position: Dental Chair Maintenance & Repair Technician

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities​

The Dental Chair Maintenance & Repair Technician will be primarily responsible for repairing and maintaining all dental equipment in clinical and laboratory areas at dentist office and its remote sites. This will include maintaining, repairing and annual preventative maintenance on all dental simulators for HIOSSEN customers.

Required Skills and Experiences
• Repair and maintain all dental equipment in clinical and laboratory areas.
•​ Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
•​ Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
•​ Provide routine maintenance all dental-related equipment including but not limited to X-ray Units, dental lights, dental units, dental chairs and parts
• Assist with procuring supplies and material to supply existing equipment to prolong life expectancy.
•​ Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

Required Qualifications
•​ Technical degree required.
•​ Familiar with dental equipment, industry standards and basic knowledge of repairs to dental chair equipment.
•​ Assist the Technical Support manager with all technical dental issues relating to all dental equipment; including dental clinical space, X-Ray Units, sterilization equipment and all small equipment.​
