미국에서 가장 작으면서 경쟁력 있고 등록비 부담이 없는
대학으로 ‘쿠퍼유니온’이라는 대학을 알게되었는데 경쟁력율도 높고
또한 과정도 쉽지 않은듯 한데, 저 같은 경우는 석사과정으로 들어갈려구
하는데 혹시 졸업자 분이나 현재 다니시는 분중에서 조언 부탁드립니다.
참고로, 그래픽 디자인 전공자입니다.

뉴욕 맨하탄에 있는 작은 규모의 명문으로 학생 전원이 전액장학금을 받고 다니는 학교입니다. 들어가기가 장난이 아니게 힘들다고 들었읍니다.
웹사이트에는 일년 학비가 2만7천불인데 학생전원이 전액장학금을 받는다는군요.
경쟁율은 9대1정도 되는가봅니다.
보통 2600명정도가 지원해서 그중 300명정도를 뽑는다는군요.

나이제한도 있고, 그 옛날 토플 점수로는 600점이 넘어야 된다고 알고 있습니다.

아 그리고, 석사 과정은 없다는 걸로 알고 있습니다.

토플 600 안되는 데도 있나요?,,
나는 미국 50-60위권 컴퓨터사이언스 나왔는데,,
토플이 600이 미니멈이었습니다..
그래도 영어못해서 무지 고생했죠..;

석사가 없고,,
학사 토플 600 제한이면 ,,
괜찮은 대학같군요.. 난 석사였는데,,;

쿠퍼유니온 장학금 받을려면 영주권자 이상이셔야 할 듯. 외국인은 장학금 안준답니다.

외국학생에겐 학부가 대학원보다 훨씬어렵습니다. 그리고, 미국대학교는 들어가기는 쉬워도 졸업하기는 힘들죠.
근데, 제가 듣기론 쿠퍼유니온은 들어가기도 무척 힘들다고 합니다. 참고로, 쿠퍼유니온에 들어가려면 영주권필요 없습니다. 일정 비율로 외국학생들을 뽑습니다. 물론, 들어만가면 전학생이 장학금을 받게되어 있으니까 외국학생도 무료입니다.

외국학생은 대학원도 더 힘들죠,,
정확히는 까먹었는데,
제 모교도 미국인은 35학점,, 외국인은 45학점,, 뭐 이런식으로,,
게다가 교수늦게 찾은 나같은 사람은 이것저것 듣다가
65학점이 넘게 되서 졸업했는데,,
실력은 올랐는지 모르겠네,,ㅁㅁ

Please note: All applicants to The Cooper Union must live in the United States or its possessions or territories and must apply from a domestic address. Students on visa (those who are noncitizens or who are not permanent residents) must complete the section about the type of visa held on the formal application of The Cooper Union and are not eligible for financial aid. Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not graduated from a secondary school in this country are required to take the Test of English as a Foreigh Language (TOEFL) to provide evidence of competence in English. A minimum TOEFL score of 600 is required (paper format) or a 250 (computer format).

Students on visas (those who are noncitizens or who are not permanent residents) who are accepted to Cooper Union will be required to file a Certificate of Finances with the Office of Admissions and Records prior to their first registration. The Certificate of Finances must certify that students meet the minimum financial support requirements for resident students. Students on visa are assessed a Filing Fee of $1,500 per year.
