이 site를 열심히 조사해 보고 job search도 열심히 해 본 결과
대부분의 미국내에서 IT분야의 h1을 지원해 주는 곳들은 consulting회사인 듯 하네요.. 한마디로 인력을 client의 contract으로 보내주는 것인듯 한데요..
너무많은 컨설팅 회사들이 있고.. job apply를 하면 연락도 많이 오는 데 어떤 회사가 믿을만 하고 아닌지를 너무 고르기가 힘듭니다..
혹시 조언을 해 주실 분들 계십니까..

Its true that many IT consulting firm hire the Foreign engineer or skilled worker to fill out their client’s demand in U.S labor market.

Its hard to say which company is good and bad.

I’ve seen and working with such a consultant who has been sent from Consulting firm from my previous working place(Mostly Indian engineer or Chinese), and found most of consultant worry about their future because their job is based on project unlikey full time or permanent job position.

It means if consulting firm or client company does not have a good upcoming project or plan, you may can lay-offs or stay in U.S without job or income until you can get another project or client.

However, there is another bright side too.

You may start working for this IT consulting firm as a consultant for a while with H1B until you can find out more better company/employer as the full time job or permanent job.(Someone could get this type of chance from their client site).

In addition to my previous comments, I would like to share my experience.

I had to get a new job 4 years ago since I’ve laid-off from the previous sponsoring company with H1B status.

I had two final job offer, one from full time job position and other from consulting firm(Working for AT&T for 2 years project term).

I had to seriously think about which company would be best for my future in case I will file up the permanent residency.

Both company offered the same benefit to sponsoring my GC anyway, even consulting company offered me more better salary(25K more than other company) and full benefit for health insurance, etc.

However, I took the regular(Typical IT business company) company instead of
Consulting firm after seriously double checked both of them.

The reason was simple.

No consulting company will guarantee your future GC processing even though that type of company can say “YES” when you interview.

I knew some of consulting firm willing to help GC processing or pay the salary even though no project to go.(but it can’nt last long, no company willing to pay for do nothing employee for a 6 months or 1 year).

Now, I’ve got my GC, but never doubt about my decision what I’ve made 4 years ago so far Today.

If you spend as much time as you could, you should find out which company can hire you.

most common ways:

First, you can post your resume as many as possible to the most popular job site.

Second, access your target company web site to see any open job position for you.

Third, you may call if you know someone work for your potential target company to see anyway to delivery your resume to the contact manager(IT directory, etc.).
