    UNIX Systems Engineer-Solaris (Bilingual English/Korean)

    Job Location: Moonachie, NJ                                                                                

    Salary: $40-80k

    Required Degree: Bachelors or higher

    Required Experience:  1-5 years

    Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (1-2 years)

     

    Job Description

    -looking for entry or junior level system admin.

    -Responsible for the deployment and management support Unix & Linux

    servers.

    -Must be able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

    -Communicate clearly with Clients, Management and Vendors -Attend Team

    Meetings and provide detailed status updates as requested -Follow strict

    Change Control based on ITSM.

    -Perform off-hours Maintenance as required and on-call support.

     

    Skills

    – Nice to have any previous experience below HW & SW, but not required.

    -Sun HW like 280,440, 490, 890,V series, T & M series e.t.c -Solaris OS 9/10 -TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, Mail, DNS, NTP, FTP, etc -VERITAS Volume management & clustering

     

    Requirements

    – Bilingual Korean/English preferred due to often communication with Korea
