▣ Positions:
The QA Client Language Test team is responsible for testing voice recognition applications for both mass-market smart phones, tablets and wearable devices for one of the world’s largest phone manufacturers.
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a QA Manager to join a successful team testing speech application products. The selected candidate will be responsible for all day to day activities for the QA Client Language Test team performing test planning, resource allocation, prioritization of work, script development, metric reporting and test execution for all client-side applications. This includes system testing (acceptance & functional) along with regression testing.

We are looking for a motivated and quality focused Quality Assurance Manager.
• Scope test timelines for all required test functions for a given project
• Develop Test Plans/Strategies including the development of test cases from functional and non-functional requirements
• Manage execution of test cases/test scripts and submission/ verification of defects
• Manage a large Multi-Language supporting test team within an aggressive and dynamic environment
• Work closely with their counterpart(s) that include Language Coordinators and Development Management
• Interface directly with our Korean Client to help manage test priorities, resolve issues and communicate testing schedules.
• Manage the sustaining process for troubleshooting production issues as reported by the client

Number of Year of Work Experience: 5+ years the software industry experience in Quality Assurance Management.

Required Skills:
• Experience managing test resources in a dynamic environment
• Strong knowledge working in a UNIX and/or Linux environments
• Experience managing in a globally distributed organization
• Experience with Internationalization and Localization testing
• Ability to size projects, allocate resources and manage to deadlines
• Experience working in an Iterative or Agile SCRUM SDLC methodology
• Strong experience with test case/ script development
• Experienced with Risk-Based testing approaches
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, is required for communication with globally distributed teams and customers.
• Must be a fluent Korean Speaker

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with mobile phone client/server software architectures
• Speech recognition industry experience
• Production experience with large-scale systems (millions of users) is a big plus
• Prior work in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with Subversion and defect reporting tools such as JIRA
• Complete life cycle experience, including deployment to production

Education:
• BS/MS University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
