— Test Engineer 2 (
The engineer will be responsible
for the design, execution and automation of system tests to ensure the quality
of Ericsson’s next generation router platform.Job activities will
include the following:– Responsible for
system testing for next generation router platform in the areas of
L2/L3/MPLS/Mobility/BRAS applications.– Responsible for ensuring product
meets the specifications. Working with cross functional teams to identify
quality risk in time to assure the project schedule and quality goal are met– Development of automated scripts
and test infrastructure that can be used to validate their code.– Working closely with
developers to reproduce, analyze, and debug internal bugs found during system
testing as well as customer issues found in the field.– Partner with development
organizations and help drive defect prevention initiativesRequirements
– BS/MS degree in Computer
Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related courses.– 1-2 years experience in testing
routing/switching platforms – in one or more areas such as L2, L3
MPLS and QoS.– Experience in L2/L3 test
equipment. Hands on experience in scripting/automation in Perl/Tcl/C.– Good communication skills to
interact with cross-functional teams.
