    USAC, a dynamic company in downtown DC, has an outstanding opportunity for a regular full-time Software Developer- Documentum position.  The purpose of this position is to provide support for critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems. 
    The successful candidate will have:
    · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or Systems;
    · 4 – 6 years experience in Web application development ( i.e., J2EE, jsp); 
    · 4 – 6 years experience with Documentum internal architecture model;
    · 4 – 6 years experience with WDK/Webtop/customization;
    · 4 – 6 years experience with Documentum Workflow, DocApp development/deployment;
    · 4 – 6 years experience with Documentum content server maintenance and troubleshooting,
    · 4 – 6 years experience with Documentum jobs/methods/server administration, DQL, API;
    · 4 – 6 years experience with Captiva Software InputAccel imaging solutions;    
    · 4 – 6 years of Technical Documentation experience;                                                             
    · 4 – 6 years experience with object oriented design and architecture, SDLC and RDBMS concepts.
                                  
    The following skills are desired:
     
    · Experience in building process oriented applications with BPM or xCP tools;
    · Experience with xPlore;
    · Experience with upgrading Documentum from 6.5 to upper versions;
    · Experience with agile software development such as SCRUM and XP;
    · C#.NET, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, T-SQL/SQL Server, PL/SQL;
    · Configuration management, release management;
    · Expert knowledge of application security concepts;
    · Experience with SharePoint development and administration.
     
    Responsibilities include:
    · Responsible for support of critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems;
    · Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met;
    · Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications; Participate in peer-reviews;
    · Follow established software development standards and procedures; Contribute towards improvement;
    · Work as part of Scrum Development Team and/or as Scrum Master, effectively participate in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives;
    · Handle complex application features and technical designs;
    · Support implementation of new technology, such as Documentum xCP and xPlore;
    · Maintain Documentum Webtop/WDK customizations;
    · Assist in Documentum content server maintenance and troubleshooting;
    · Provide a wide range of expertise across the Documentum product suite, including architecture, design, setup, and coding in Java;
    · Conduct needs assessment and analysis for business system needs;
    · Coordinate with departments and users in the support of business applications;
    · Exercise judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
    · Represent the IT department in terms of software development expertise in coordination with other departments;
    · Perform other duties, as assigned.
