Teaneck, NJ에 위치한 회사에서 아래와 같이 정규직 신입 Accounting Specialist를 채용중입니다.

Salary: $38,000 a year

Responsibilities:
– Support month-end and year-end close process
– Develop and document business processes, create, maintain, and improve financial and administrative processes as needed
– Receive and enter accounts payable and billing information (AR), as requested
– Process, mail and track invoices and payments
– Acts as primary point of contact with customers regarding billing & collections
– Generates billings to customers and maintains accounts receivable records
– Preparing and Managing weekly and monthly accounts payable checks and reports
– Providing support in the preparation of monthly invoicing for all department

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting
– Bilingual in Korean and English
– 1 year of accounting experience preferred, but not required
– No visa sponsorship available

38k 실화?

안타깝지만 이게 회계 현실이다. 회계학 고민 하는 사람들 잘 봐두길.

작은 건 사실이지만 급여 공개도 안하고 취업공고하는 다른 업체들보다 100배는 나을 거라고 생각합니다.
이렇게 밝힌다는 건 그만큼 이 급여로도 뽑을 수 있다는 얘끼일테고, 숨기는 곳들은 대부분 더 열악.

아무리 신입이라고 해도 1년 경력을 우대해준다고 가정하고, NJ라는걸 생각했을 때 그래도 38k는 심하네요.
이거저거 다 따지고 그래도 갈 이유라면 신분일텐데, 신분이 안되는 사람은 찾지도 않겠다고 하고..

집에계신 사모님께서 맞벌이로 일하기는 딱 적당한 그런 단순 업무인가 봅니다.

무슨소리 우리회사 회계부서든 어디부서든 신입 초봉 44,000.00
저기 쏘놓은 benefit 다 포함.

이럴꺼면 차라리 조지아/알라바마 공장에서 일하는게 낫겠네요.
