Position Overview:
Position: Principal Plasma Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Reporting To: Head of US CoEKey Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of RF plasma systems (e.g., PECVD, ALD, plasma etching) for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Drive advancements in plasma generation, coupling, and control systems to enhance process efficiency and yield.
Collaborate closely with hardware, product, and process engineering teams for seamless integration of plasma technologies.
Manage the development and validation of plasma processes and components from concept through mass production.
Oversee strategic RF plasma projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Stay updated on the latest plasma technology trends to drive continuous innovation.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and innovation.Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Plasma Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in RF plasma engineering, particularly within the semiconductor equipment industry.
Proven experience leading plasma projects from concept to high-volume manufacturing.

Pay: $160,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
