The Georgia plant was established on May 17, 2007. MOBIS Georgia is a three (3) shift manufacturing operation that assembles the four major modules (Front Chassis, Rear Chassis, Cockpit, Front End) and the front and rear bumpers for the three (3) vehicles produced by KMMG. Expectation: Cascades department strategy through the establishment of team and individual objectives performed by self, subordinates, and supporting staff within assigned budget. Leads by example to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in support of safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale (SQDCM) initiatives. Leads efforts in developing self and others to ensure that a knowledgeable and skilled workforce is prepared to overcome current and future challenges. Role(s) : Supports the Procurement Team through managing subordinates, ensuring suppliers meet requirements, reviewing legal documentation and reporting Responsibilities: • Establish and lead new car sourcing plan and events. • Reviews legal documentations such as RFQs, LOIs, and term and conditions and develop such documentation according to MOBIS policy and revise supplier contracts for managerial approval. • Review, analyze, and clarify quote packages from suppliers. • Research potential suppliers and find, develop, and coordinate suppliers as necessary. • Monitor Specialist when managing cost analysis for parts, tooling, and any supplier expenses and negotiates price with suppliers. • Mentors responsible employees to enable to meet project requirement, and perform routine activities. • Evaluates and team members’ performance and report to upper management. • Responsible for part development and implementations for an assigned project with suppliers and other departments. • Conducts detailed project plans, tactical execution, schedules and cost estimates for each part project. • Provides Management overview and reporting on critical project tasks. • Maintains strong relationship with suppliers, internal and external customers including the Sales Managers to ensure on time program deliverables. • Communicates regularly with upper management including HQ regarding the status of current projects, obtains upper management guidance and approval as required. • Leads suppliers to meet the quality requirement during development projects. • Respond to supply shortages for supplier-related issues. • Conducts and oversees value engineering for any possible cost savings. • Responsible for supplier’s ISIR review and approval, supplier quality audit and routine MQRS Audit. • Other tasks as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration or related filed) • 0-3 years management experience • 3 years and/or 3+ years of experience in Procurement role within a manufacturing/ automotive industry • PC literate, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) • Bilingual in English and Korean careers@gmobis.com I agree to the terms of service Update List
