JOB TITLE: Senior Mechanical Engineer

DESCRIPTION:
The Mechanical Engineer will develop electro-Mechanical system, provide technical support to all functional departments, lead development projects, and offer guidance to team members. They shall work collaboratively with internal and external customers to provide technical solutions while effectively managing process, policy, and strategy changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Well-rounded engineer with good understanding of physics and mechanics.
• Must be able to generate conceptual and detailed designs for mechanical subsystems and possess analytical skills to assess impact of designs at a system level.
• Must be able to carry out assembly, testing and troubleshooting of subsystems at prototype and integrated system levels.
• Strong organizational skills are required for creation of assembly bills of material (BOM) and vendor management.
• Strong experience in detail drawing creation and application and interpretation of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5) and welding (AWS A2.4) symbols.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, plating, etc.
• Must be proficient in 3D solid modeling CAD; strongly prefer Creo/Parametric (previously Pro/Engineer)
• Background in semiconductor capital equipment or clear room environment is desirable
• Self-motivated team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent communication skills on engineering discussion.
• Industrial engineering experience is a plus

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Min 5 years of experience in the industry
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• Computer literacy including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & CAD software
• Organizational, analytical, and planning skills
• Aptitude to organize and manage complex projects
• Ability to create and present presentations to large groups of people
