SUMMARY
Works on new market development, reseller level training.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The POS Specialist
should be actively involved in the following areas:
1. Existing
resellers and Dealers support.
ü Help
support current POS resellers as needed remotely or on-site as needed minimizing
cost.
ü Diagnose
and solve issues in POS to ensure store is able to sell product and service
customers effectively and accurately.
ü Maintain
system software/ hardware compliance and patch levels by upgrading as needed.
2. Training
ü Set up
training for merchant service provider (or operators, cashiers, front-end
people and managers)
ü Train
operators and staff as need to ensure they are able to control inventory and
service customers accurately and effectively.
ü Always
have efficiency, cost savings and operator profitability in the forefront of
training efforts.
ü Set
control and audit standards for compliance in pricing, value and system checks.
3. Find and
develop new technologies and ways to use POS systems to:
ü Increase
sales
ü Increase
operator profitability & Productivity
ü Improve
item movement reporting
ü Use POS
benefits by retrieving item movement from all stores so buyers and operators
can evaluate item movement and order merchandise in a more analytical and
effective manner.
ü Maximize
reporting potential of POS system.
ü Develop
companywide consistency in
QUALIFICATIONS
·
Minimum 3 year POS application
experience.
·
Bilingual
in English & Korean
·
Very clear, confident and effective
verbal and written communication skills
·
High energy level and enthusiasm
·
Highly organized
·
Enjoys responding to the needs of
others within the company
·
Enjoys and capable of learning new
software programs with ease
·
Able to efficiently resolve
unexpected issues as they arise, and find ways of creative problem solving
