인터넷에서 due diligence 후 확인 했는데. 많인 회사들 (규모가 클수록 ) 많이 한답니다. 차후 다시 할 필요가 없어지고. 법인카드 및 회사 발행 문건들을 미리 할 수 도 있으며 credit 체크도 가능하다네요. 불법은 아니구요. 연봉을 묻는건 아니었어요.

They ask for it early because it streamlines their process later; once you’re a finalist and they want to move forward with a background check, it’s easier for them if they already have the information on hand and don’t have to ask you for it. It’s similar to companies that ask for references upfront; it’s rare that they’ll use them until much later in the process, but they ask for them early so that they have them on-hand when they’re ready for them. Both things understandably make candidates uncomfortable.
