    hi guys, I should say in english since my computer doesn’t work in Korean

    I have a question on applying for driving license.

    My spouse who is in H4 visa will apply for driving license test and we
    heard H4 doesn’t have SSN so should get a letter from social security office on proving her status.

    But she had already gotten a SSN when she studied as F1 several year ago.

    In this case, what should we do ? Which is piror? her old SSN or present H4 status?

    I’m very confusing wiht it.

      그냥 그 ssn 사용하셔도 무방할 것 같습니다.
      한 번 ssn 받으면 평생간다고 드었거든요.

      어차피 H4 비자로 미국 체류 신분을 증명하는 것이고,
      ssn은 운전면허의 필수사항인데, ssn이 없는 사람은 소셜오피스가서
      받을 수 없다는 서류를 내는 것입니다.

      그러니 H4와 ssn의 조합이면 아무런 문제가 없을 것 같습니다.
