We Helped a Postdoctoral Researcher Get His EB2NIW Petition Approved without RFE.
Today, a green card is essential for postdoctoral researchers and Ph.D. students, especially during the current economic downturn with the bleak job market, in order to secure a job in the United States. You can start the green card process even if you are currently a Ph.D. student and holding a temporary research position with an employer which will not sponsor your green card application. You can file an NIW immigrant petition as a self-petitioner. Ph.D. candidates who possess 1) master’s degree, 2) journal publications, and 3) more than 20 citations are strongly recommended to apply for a green card through an NIW immigrant petition, six (6) months prior to graduation in order to secure employment opportunities during the current economic downturn and bleak job market created by high unemployment rate.
