    Summary
    The Analyst and Senior Analyst, East Logistics and Freight Forwarding Operation position will provide and monitor customer service for inbound/outbound traffic regarding transportation of auto parts for US manufacturing plants (Related vendors for Hyundai/Kia and Suppliers) with container moves.

    Compensation
    $44,000-$54,000/Year (Analyst)
    $54,000-$60,000/Year (Senior Analyst)

    Responsibilities
    Provide In & Out Bound Operation Services – Covering Ocean In & Out Bound – Monitor Daily Transaction & C/S
    Monitor ocean inbound container moves from the container origin
    Monitor any issues with customs and line hold on the container and handle any issues prior to port of arrival
    Timely preparation of all required documentation to meet required delivery dates
    Set up based on new/existing customers needs to provide smooth supply chain management
    Keep the record of bill of lading/arrival notice/commercial invoice/packing list/MSDS/HAZMAT document to fulfill logistics requirements when need
    Daily Coordinate with Customers with Inquires – Support Daily Inquires
    Maintain list of all approved carriers and route guides by management and implement an effective cost-saving container transportation system
    Thoroughly understand customers’ demand and adjust daily operations to fit customers’ needs including container delivery date change requests
    Send container tracing report to customers weekly or daily requested by customer
    Manage Demurrage/Detention/Chassis Charge to Minimize Cost for the Customers
    Be able to calculate any fees occurred for containers including demurrage, detention, chassis, storage, prepull, stop over, driver detention and etc. and advise customer in timely manner with occurring charges
    Notify customer in advance for the containers that may occur any charges
    Notify any occurred charges to Accounting department so they can invoice customers
    Daily Monitor Urgent Container Moves
    Set up any urgent container moves including late gate, weekend gate open at port and arrange with trucking company to ensure container deliveries to the customer warehouse
    On call 24/7 for any urgency to container movements
    Notify customers with updates from when the container departs from the port to customer warehouse including estimated time of arrival and current location of the container
    Report Statistical Container Moves to the Manager
    Be able to report container inbound movement reports (transit times of vessel, daily, weekly, or monthly container movements) to the upper management in timely manner when requested

    Education & Experience
    High School Diploma Required/ Bachelor Degree Preferred
    Zero(0)- Three (3) Year of Related Work Experience Required
    Three (3) Years of Related Work Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain Management Preferred

    Physical Requirements
    Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
    Lift/Carry up to 15 lbs.
    Stand/Walk
    Ability to operate desk machines- Computer, Fax/Copy Machine
