    Summary
    The Senior Analyst, Air and Ocean Logistics & Supply Chain Solutions position will be responsible for managing the overall Air Import & Export daily operations,. The incumbent will have and maintain high level interface directly with customers on a regular basis, develop logistics solutions that can reduce costs, improve service levels, and have the ability to build strong relationships to drive the business.

    Compensation
    $50,000-$60,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

    Responsibilities
    General 3PL operations (Inbound, outbound, in-land and warehouse / distribution)
    Oversee the transportation of freight and ensure complete customer satisfaction by facilitating timely and accurate communication
    Provide guidance and direction to freight forwarding operation team on operational decisions based on immediate requirements and urgent transportation
    Liaise with customers, suppliers, inland transportation carriers to ensure that a premium level of customer service is always present
    Accurately manage and maintain departmental operational tasks such as accounting, reporting, and records keeping in accordance with internal policies and state and federal regulations
    Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
    Lead, coach, enforce, empower and direct reports to perform and achieve in line with company values and strategy and department goals adhering to company SOP and policies
    Prepare and consolidate regular reports for management review
    Ensure that all issues related to service failures are followed up on and corrective action implemented
    Implement and continuously enhance Air Freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export)
    Manage and monitor freight forwarding accounts receivable and accounts payable
    Prepare FF month end, Support Finance / accounting Dept. for invoice, inquiries, aging, and reconciliation
    Customer services and client management
    Ensure that all personnel are providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
    New accounts operation set-up support and competitive analysis
    Other duties as assigned 
    Accomplish top management mission by completing related results as needed

    Skills & Qualifications
    Experience in SCM, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Transportation Required 
    Strong communication, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills Required
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required 
    Broad knowledge of general business application programs, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows OS environment Required 
    Ability to make accurate assessments based upon common industry practice, vendor contractual obligations, and department policies Required 
    Proficient with PC skills: Excel, Word, and database management Required 
    Experience with CRM /WMS System is highly Preferred

    Education & Experience
    High School Diploma / GED Required
    Bachelors Degree Preferred
    1-2 Years of Direct Experience Required
    3-4 Years of Direct Experience Preferred 

    Physical Requirements
    Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
