Mobis US Alabama is one of the oversea branches of Hyundai Mobis, established in 2020 as a Tier 1 supplier to Mercedes Benz U.S. International. Mobis U.S. Alabama assembles front and rear chassis modules used on certain vehicles produced by Mercedes Benz. Using components from domestic and overseas suppliers, Mobis U.S. Alabama uses state of the art technology to produce the finished products for MBUSI in a just in time, just-in-sequence system.
The Commercial Management Specialist represents Mobis US Alabama to its customers. The incumbent provides data, pricing and product information to the customer, implements and updates price changes and organizes and reports tooling costs and new/changed part costs as new vehicle projects are initiated.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
• Perform duties as the Key Account Manager for customer
• Track temporary pricing and pricing errors until permanent pricing is established
• Monitor and be aware of the basic unit of selling goods –Just-in-Sequence (JIS) and Just-in-Time (JIT) for billing process
• Complete Sales Month-End Closing
• Analyze and track the cost for reimbursement from the customer
• Control and manage Retroactive payment (Part price change history)
• Submit monthly sales data to various departments in headquarters
• Submit monthly sales forecast and market analysis monthly
• Request and report various types of requested data
• Gather, organize tooling and engineering changes (EC) cost data from related departments
• Submit summary to the customer for review and respond to requests for additional data
• Discuss and negotiate the items with MBUSI to receive the cost reimbursement
• Monitor and maintain unit/sales price information
• Manage the master price data (internal data)
• Monitor the sub part prices
• Monitor Effective Point of Implementation (EPI) schedules for the new prices
• Monitor and manage daily Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for inbound and outbound (ASN)Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any fieldRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Ability to evaluate component parts pricing and to monitor and manage part changes
• SAP Experience (Sales SAP Module; Tracking and Analysis of Price Changes)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Korean/English bilingual (Preferred but not necessary)Job Type: Full Time, Day Shift
Pay: $60,000 – $70,000
