Position: SCM Specialist

Industry: Automotive Parts

This position requires (Exempt Salaried) flexible working schedules.
(able to work weekends, holidays, days, nights according to the schedule assigned)

General Responsibilities but not limited to:

 Coordinate activities with the production staff and assist with improving efficiency of the production operation.
 Plan and coordinate activities to meet production schedule and ensure products are in compliance with all applicable specifications and modifications.
 Maintain high productivity and cost effectiveness through proper scheduling of production, manpower, downtime for sanitation and maintenance.
 Facilitate programs in training, safety, communications, and talent development.
 Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining product integrity.
 Responsible for health and safety of the department to establish a safe working culture.
 Establish and manage inventory control management that will monitor and maintain materials; perform cycle counts, perform inventory reconciliation during inventory discrepancy and staging of raw materials, consumables, and supplies.
 Conduct performance evaluations of subordinates.
 Daily review and analysis of production data.
 Recommend solution and/or initiate actions to further increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce cost.
 Capable of lifting wheels and tires (up to 51lbs).

Qualifications:

 Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
 Effective interpersonal skills with management team, employees, and business partners in a competent, productive manner.
 College degree or higher (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
 Must be able to work on feet or sit for long hours.
 Computer skills in Excel.

Preferred:

 Materials management experience in a manufacturing/production environment
 Experience in dispatching in logistics environment
 Knowledge and experience of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and/or WMS (Warehouse Management System)
