Upon arrival, I met with the drivers of vehicle one (V1) and vehicle two (V2) who advised the following;
V1 stated she was westbound on SR 61 getting ready to turn into the Burger King parking lot.
V1 said traffic in the eastbound lanes had stopped as she crossed over into the median.
V1 said when traffic completely stopped, she attempted to go straight into the parking lot.
V1 said that is when V2 turned right into the same parking lot and hit her vehicle causing minor damage. V2 confirmed the sequence of events.
Neither driver was injured or requested medical attention and both vehicles were driven from the scene by the owners. No citations were issued
