    I have the following offer for L6 in Google cloud in Bay area.

    Base: $260K
    Bonus: 20%
    Equity: $700K (38/32/20/10)
    Y1 TC: around $576
    Y2 TC: around $534

    I was expecting a little more for L6, I have a few counter offers but they are lower than Google offer. How reasonable is this offer for Google L6? Any chance I could negotiate further?

      It’s not a terrible offer, although it seems it is not at somewhere near the top end of the L6 salary band. I think GCP is still far behind AWS in terms of maturity. There will be a lot things one can work on and produce meaningful results, which will help advance this person’s career with in the company. I would get an offer from AWS and compare. There are others who provide value-added cloud solutions on top of AWS, GCP or Azure. Especially the companies who are building up AI-related cloud offerings are looking for competent people all the time.

      딴 회사 댕겨서 몰라서 그러는데, 구글 L6 target bonus가 20% 밖에 안되나요?
      내가 L6급으로 다른 회산데, 25%인데. 원래 저런건가 아니면 저 사람 오퍼가 좀 특별히 짠건가.

      20퍼가 타겟이고 퍼포먼스에 따라 15퍼~25퍼 드물게 30퍼까지 나옵니다

      현금 보너스는 다들 크게 신경 안쓰고 equity를 주로 신경 쓰자나요. 근데 L6치고 주식 되게 많이 받은거 아닌가요

      구글 L6 타겟 20% 맞습니다. 당연히 더 받을 수도 덜 받을 수도 있구요. L6표준 오퍼로 보입니다. 요즘 네고 쉽지 않아요. 더 센 오퍼 들고와서 매칭해달래도 쉽지 않은데 다른 오퍼가 더 낮으면 더 이상 네고는 거의 어렵다고 봅니다..
