    The Logistics Assistant Manager is responsible for day-to-day tactical execution of factory operations and H’ logistics needs. Also The Logistics Assistant Manager is responsible for developing the day-to-day logistics plans including Order/Route management, Inventory Management, Employee Performance, Communication/Partnership with internal teams and customers to support domestic and global sales and efficient loading and delivery of finished goods to our customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    – Ensure accurate inventory records for all stored materials.
    – Ensure scheduling and tracking of inbound and outgoing shipments.
    – Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs.
    – Ensure maintenance of customer service logs and safety records.
    – Supervise logistics team members responsible for international and domestic shipping, receiving, storage, and other site logistics operations.
    – Manage all indirect material storage, shipping, receiving, and internal delivery for internal customer groups (Maintenance, Engineering, R&D, Order-Management, Purchasing, etc.)
    – Oversee daily requirements of shipping to meet order dates and receiving inbound materials.
    – Ensure timely and accurate completion of import and export filings, customs transactions, and any other activities needed to ensure effective international shipping.
    – Oversee the scheduling of daily and annual tasks for Logistics personnel.
    – Train job functions of Logistics personnel by SOP and specifications.
    – Monitor accuracy of shipping, lead time, weight, product classifications, and other ERP master data to ensure effective operations.
    – Manage schedule of warehouse equipment with applicable vendors and or maintenance department.
    – Oversee the training of new personnel on logistics systems and functional cross-training.
    – Update and maintain standard operating procedures for site logistics.
    – Investigate root causes on issues with shipping/receiving, product damage, and carrier issues.
    – Participate in plant operations meetings as appropriate.
    – Establish and maintain a strong relationship with other departments as needed on logistics processes / quality issues (Purchasing, Facilities, Sales and Marketing, and Production).
    – Provide solid safety leadership.
    – Provide monthly input on notable accomplishments and regular reports.
    – Adhere to the policies and procedures of H.
    – Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    – Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or a related field.
    – 10+ years’ experience in supply chain operations and/or logistics.
    – Bilingual in English and Korean.
    – Experience leading teams in assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
    – Demonstrated influencing skills to work cross functionally in a matrix environment.
    – Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
    – Demonstrated analytical and problem solving capability.
    – Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    – Experience in high-volume, multi-site distribution with a solid understanding of FMS, TMS / ERP Systems.
    – Strong written and verbal communication / influencing skills capable of maintaining positive internal/external relationships
    – Capable of working cross functionally with other areas of the business and providing on-site support as needed

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    – Experience with logistics management of Solar Industry
    – Strong ERP system experience
    – Knowledgeable in modes of Transportation-TL, LTL, Ocean, Air is preferred
    – Prior experience in FTZ operations, logistics operations, supply chain management and/or warehousing, 3PL (managing relationships)
