    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a Production Program Manager (PM) to work at our state of the art Lithium-Ion battery plant in beautiful Holland, MI. The PM will manage and support LGCMI’s overall battery cell and pack related activities to automotive manufacturing companies in the United States.
    The primary responsibilities of the Production Program Manager are as follows:
    Responsible for overall communication with customers (OEMs) on all program related activities (OEMs)
    Lead cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering and Planning to ensure on-time quality Plan vs Output, and to consistently review and act on customer needs and feedback
    Manage both ongoing and new production of battery cell, modules and pack programs including but not limited to, 4M, APQP, PPAP etc. per customer requirements. Lead customer discussions to ensure commonality and consistency for LG Chem Michigan customers
    Lead organizing and communicating 1) Scope, 2) Milestone, 3) Conditions etc.
    Complete validation/verification approval process internally and externally
    Monitor Program status overall including production and shipment status and coordinate with relevant LG Chem Michigan and Headquarter team members to resolve issues and requests.
    Educate and ensure execution of internal processes throughout procurement, production, shipment and quality management.

    Qualifications:
    Strong record of 3+ years of experience in customer relations for US automotive (or automotive parts Tier 1) companies, or similar large operating/manufacturing environment
    Drive production & sales through promotion of customer service and product knowledge
    Drive the proper communication channels for escalation management toward resolution
    Ability to positively and effectively interact with internal members and external customers in a global environment
    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar required
    Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
    Bilingual skills in Korean and English required
    Knowledge or experience in battery systems or processes a strong plus, but not required
