Job Responsibilities:
– Responsible for using problem analysis and root cause techniques, and implementing solutions under tight deadlines (8D, 3Panel, 5 Why’s).
– Weekly meetings with customer to review, discuss and assign responsibility for all warranty claims. Feedback to team of any claim related to process and supplier.
– Organize, coordinate, and document all warranty reduction initiatives involving management to generate the proper actions, feasibility analysis, cost impact, and follow up on implementation dates, including cleanpoints of every action.
– Review warranty verbatim weekly to determine responsibility.
– Frequent monitoring of KMMG/HMA system for new warranty claims.
– Follow requirements of Quality polities and standards, such as, ISO 90001, TS 16949, IATF16949.

Technical Skills Required:
– Core Tools (SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP).
– 5Phases, Drill Deep & Wide, 8D’s, 3Panel’s.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, and SAP.
– GD&T – Drawing Interpretation.
– Familiarity with TS 16949 or ISO/ QS 9000 preferred.
– MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
– Must be bilingual (English/Korean).

Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Working Experience Required:
– 3-5 years of experience in the area of quality warranty engineering in an automotive manufacturing assembly environment required.
– Full working knowledge of APQP process, flowcharts, work instructions, and control plans.
